Ivan Khan, MD, MPH
Dr. Ivan Khan is the President & CEO of Khan's Tutorial (KT). At Khan's Tutorial, Dr. Khan oversees the company's various departments throughout 11 NYC locations & leads the Senior Team to preserve KT's mission to increase student test scores & to educate for life. Dr. Khan first started as a KT Instructor in 1998 when he was completing secondary schooling at the Bronx High School of Science. Since then Dr. Khan completed the combined medical program at the Sophie Davis School of BioMedical Education/CUNY Medical School, and went onto earn his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) & Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. After serving as the Director, Quality Initiatives at NorthEast Business Group on Health, Dr. Ivan Khan returned to Khan's Tutorial in a full time capacity in 2011. Since 2011, Dr. Khan's leadership has helped Khan's Tutorial earn feature articles in the Wall Street Journal, BBC News, NBC Asian America, Al-Jazeera News, Inside Schools, and WNYC Radio. In 2017 Dr. Khan completed his Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School. Dr. Khan also holds a Certificate in Management from Columbia Business School Exec Education. Dr. Khan is a proud Queens native & an avid fan of the NY Knicks & NY Giants.
Dr. Mansur Khan
The late Dr. Mansur Khan is the Founder of Khan's Tutorial. After founding KT in 1994, Dr. Khan has overseen our growth from a single tutoring center to a rapidly growing academy with 10 locations in the NYC area. Dr. Khan holds a Ph.D. in Economics, 3 Masters Degrees in Economics, and a Masters Degree in Education. Prior to founding Khan's Tutorial, Dr. Khan served as an Assistant Principal with the Dept. of Education, at Wadleigh High School. Prior to that he served as the Dean of Students & Math Department Chair at the High School of Economics and Finance. In addition, Dr. Khan has held teaching positions at New York University, Paterson College, NJ, London University, & Dhaka University.
Nayeema Khan, MS
Mrs. Nayeema Khan is the Chairperson of Khan's Tutorial and the United Nations International Congress of Media Goodwill Ambassador for Quality Education. After immigrating to the U.S. in 1985, she has been an active leader in education for more than 25 years. She was a Certified Elementary School Teacher in 1988. Since then, Mrs. Khan gained her Masters of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from the New School University in 1992. Mrs. Khan enjoys singing & spending time with her granddaughter, Arianna.

Mohammad S. Hossain
Mohammad Hossain is the Vice President of Khan's Tutorial and the Director of the SHSAT Program. He has been a part of the KT family since 2004 when he was an SHSAT student. He has instructed at multiple KT centers. He now leads the Operations and SHSAT teams across all 10 locations. Mohammad is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and Hunter College where he majored in Biology. He is currently attending the Zicklin School of Business, getting his MBA in Finance. He loves his NY Knicks, the LA Lakers, and the New England Patriots.
Paulina Baltazar is the Director of Marketing and Communications at Khan's Tutorial. She started out as a Common Core Instructor and later became Senior Manager at KT Astoria. Today, Paulina leads numerous public relations and marketing initiatives at KT. She is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and Baruch College where she majored in Corporate Communication. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's in Marketing Management at the Zicklin School of Business. In her free time, Paulina enjoys cooking, traveling, and attending music festivals.
Niloy Jafar Iqbal, MS
Niloy Iqbal is the Director of Finances at Khan's Tutorial. At KT, Niloy has been a student, SHSAT Instructor, Branch Director at KT Astoria, and Senior Director. Niloy is a graduate of NYU and is currently attending Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva Univesity, getting his MD/PhD. He is also a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and a 2009 Intel Finalist. Niloy is an avid New York Giants fan, and enjoys watching foreign films in his spare time.
Nadia Hossain is the Director of KT's Common Core Program. At KT, she has been a student, instructor, manager, and Branch Director at KT Floral Park . Nadia is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and graduated from the City College of New York where she studied History and French. In her free time, Nadia enjoys reading, trading stocks, and spending time with her family and friends.
Sam Allen is a Director of Facilities at Khan's Tutorial. He has been a part of the Khan's Tutorial family since 2008. He started off as an Instructor, continued as an SHSAT Instructor, Quality Manager, and then eventually Director. A graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, Sam was a Political Science major at Queens College. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, video games, and watching his favorite television show, Breaking Bad.
Maisha Islam works in our Human Resources Department. She joined the KT family in 2010 as a K-6 Instructor. Since then, Maisha has gone on to be a Quality Manager and Senior Manager at KT Jamaica. She joined the Operations team at her new role in September 2015. She currently attends Baruch College where she hopes to pursue a degree in Human Resources Management. In her free time, Maisha enjoys reading, watching movies, shows and spending time with family and friends.
Tasneem Imam Khan, MPH
Ms. Tasneem Khan is the Director of the High School Achievement Program (HSAP). Ms. Khan graduated from Barnard College in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science and received a Masters in Public Health in 2012 from Columbia University. Ms. Khan is passionate about reading fiction, drawing portraits, and singing.
Taseen Khan is the Finance Manager and a Senior Director at Khan's Tutorial. He has been a part of KT since 2006 as a K-6 student. Taseen has been a manager at KT Jamaica and KT Sutphin. Soon after, he became Branch Director of KT Astoria. He graduated from The Bronx High School of Science in 2013 and is currently studying Finance at Baruch College. In his free time, Taseen enjoys playing basketball and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Nusrat Hoque is a Senior Director at Khan's Tutorial. She has been a part of the KT Family since she was a Regents student in 2011. Since then Nusrat has gone on to become an Instructor and a Quality Manager. A graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, she is currently studying Biology on the Pre-Med track at St. John's University. She enjoys trying new things, discovering new places and spending time with her friends and family during her free time.
Asim Poddar is a Data Analyst at Khan's Tutorial. He joined KT an instructor at Jamaica and then moved to KT Floral Park, where he took over the SHSAT program. Later he joined the team at KT Jamaica as a Quality Manager and Senior Manager. Asim graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2014 and currently attends New York University as a Computer Engineering Major with a minor in Finance. In his free time, Asim enjoys weight lifting and drawing.
Sulejman is the Director of KT Parkchester. He joined the KT family in October of 2014. He started off in the Common Core Department as an instructor, until August of 2016 when he became a Data Manager. He fulfilled the role of Director in April of 2017. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and currently studies Mechanical Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. In his spare time, Sulejman likes going to the gym, listening to music, and driving.
Mohammed Neloy Haque is a Senior Director at Khan's Tutorial. He has been a part of KT since 2007 when he was an SHSAT student. Neloy has taught Common Core and SHSAT at KT Brooklyn and later worked as Branch Director at KT Sutphin. He is a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, and NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where he received a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. In his spare time, Neloy enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, in addition to watching sitcoms, basketball, and reading books.
Jeba Yasmin is the Director of KT Astoria. She has been part of the KT family since 2013 when she started off as a K-6 Instructor. Later she moved on to become both a Quality Manager and Senior Manager at KT Astoria. Jeba is a graduate of Forest Hills High School and is currently attending Hunter College where she is in her third year majoring in Sociology and Public Health. She loves to travel and try ethnic desserts.
Fahim Hilaly is the Director of KT Jamaica. He started his journey at Khan’s in early 2015 as a Common Core Instructor and eventually became an SHSAT teacher. Fahim graduated from Bronx Science in June 2015 and is currently attending NYU. He is undecided with his major but is pursuing Pre-Med studies. He aims to become a neurosurgeon one day. In his free time, Fahim enjoys going to the gym and driving.
Raihan Ashraf is the Director of KT Brooklyn. He began as a Common Core Instructor in 2015. He is a graduated alumni of The Bronx High School of Science. He now continues his studies as an undergraduate at The Cooper Union, Albert Nerken School of Engineering where he is a major in Chemical Engineering. Raihan enjoys art and basketball, he is an academic athlete as he played varsity basketball in high school and continues to play college basketball for The Cooper Union in the NASBI league.
Akram Hussain is the Director of KT Richmond Hill. He joined the KT Family as an Instructor at KT Sutphin in 2017. He moved up the KT ladder as an SAT Instructor at KT Sutphin. Akram is a graduate of Newtown High School and currently attends Hunter College majoring in Biochemistry. In his free time, Akram enjoys playing soccer, taking pictures, and driving.
Stephen Mumin is the Director at KT Jackson Heights. He joined the KT family in February 2015, teaching primarily at the Regents/SAT level and sometimes at the K-6 level. After two months, Stephen transitioned to the SHSAT team and after gaining experience has become the lead SHSAT Instructor at KT Jackson Heights. Stephen graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and currently attends Hunter College studying Chemistry with a minor in Theater. He plans to enter an MD-PhD program and one day open his own research laboratory. On his free time, Stephen enjoys exploring new places and shopping for new clothes.
Abir Chowdhury is the Director at KT Ozone Park. He joined the Parkchester team as a Common Core Instructor in September 2016 and his devotion to the job paved the way to becoming a Manager in May 2017. Abir is a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science and currently studies accounting at Fordham University. In his free time, Abir likes playing and watching basketball and spending time with his friends and family.
