Test for Admissions into Catholic High Schools
Admission to the Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens or the Archdiocese of New York in 2015-2016 is determined in part by the results of the TACHS exam administered in November.
The exam content covers
- General Abstract Reasoning Ability.
An examination fee of $52 includes
- registration materials
- a student handbook
- test materials
- the reporting of scores to the three high schools of your choice
Students in the eighth grade during the 2014-2015 school year, wishing to apply for Fall 2015 admission to Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens and Archdiocese of New York, are eligible to take the TACHS Examination in November 2014.
